Kirk Palmer Associates, a New York based executive search firm, has opened a London office and hired Caroline Pill as its vice president, responsible for building the KPA global business practice with clients in Europe, Asia and the U.S.

Pill has extensive experience at other search firms, most recently working as vice president of executive recruitment at Karen Harvey Consulting, where she led senior executive search assignments in Europe, Asia and the U.S. Earlier, she was with Spencer Stuart, focusing on projects in international fashion and luxury.

"Our client base is expressing greater interest in wanting to broaden their candidate pool to include global candidates. Over the last couple of years, more and more are asking me to reach abroad", Palmer told WWD. "In the luxury sector, it's been very common. But now a lot of midtier-priced companies are interested in seeing candidates that can bring a different perspective. In addition, American companies have been continuing to expand their footprint in Europe and Asia. We see the opportunity to also export some American talent as well."

In a further expansion of Kirk Palmer Associates, Palmer said Alex Montefalco has returned to the firm as head of creative. Montefalco was most recently director of executive and creative recruitment for LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, where she spent four years conducting executive and creative assignments. Prior to LVMH, she worked at Kirk Palmer Associates and before that, she was with Karen Harvey Consulting.

The 30-year old Kirk Palmer Associates serves the retail, consumer-wholesale and fashion industries.

In addition to New York and London, KPA has an office in San Francisco. KPA employs 30 people.
