Russell Reynolds Associates, a leading global executive search and leadership advisory firm, today announced that Margaret (Meg) Blakey has joined the firm's New York office as a consultant specializing in Global Real Estate within the Financial Services team. Blakey's expertise in commercial real estate investment banking and lending and capital markets will add further depth to the firm's New York consulting team.

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Blakey co-founded and served as managing principal of Canopy Investment Advisors, an emerging manager focused on commercial real estate debt investments. Previously, Blakey was a portfolio manager and member of the investment committee for real estate debt funds at BNY Mellon and Capmark Investments. Earlier in her career, she was a member of the Real Estate Investment Banking Group at Goldman Sachs and the Commercial Mortgage Trading Group at Credit Suisse.
Blakey is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), where she serves as program chair and management steering committee member for ULI New York and a founding member of the Women's Leadership Initiative. She is an active speaker and participant in industry organizations, including WX and the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council. She is a member of the advisory board for The Trust for Public Land and the steering committee and advisory board for The Mountain School of Milton Academy.
Blakey received her B.A. from Dartmouth College and M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
