McDermott & Bull, one of the largest executive search firms within the Hunt Scanlon Top 50 Recruiters list, as well as one of Forbes’ Best Executive Recruiting Firms, announced the appointment of Darren Buck as Principal Consultant within the firm’s Healthcare Practice. Buck joins McDermott & Bull following his tenure as CEO with Hooper Sloan, a Healthcare executive search firm based in Nashville, Tennessee.

Buck has a deep background in executive search. As the CEO of Hooper Sloan, a boutique executive search firm specializing in the direct recruitment of leadership within the Healthcare industry, Buck partnered with some of the nation’s largest health systems, hospital management organizations, and physician practice groups, including Community Health Systems, LifePoint Health, Ascension Health, and Saint Thomas Health. Prior to Hooper Sloan, Buck founded The Infinity Resource Group Inc. As part of that endeavor, he was responsible for leading all business development initiatives that resulted in growing the organization from a startup to one of the Fastest Growing Companies in America, according to Inc. magazine.
