Prior to Lancor, Scott co-led the NY / North American office at Skillcapital and co-led the executive search business while building their deal origination practice. Prior to joining Skillcapital, Scott was a Partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ New York office where he was responsible for building the same type of Executive-led Merchant Bank and a member of the Global Financial Services Practice. Previously, Scott spent 17 years as an investment banker as the co-founder of Coady Diemar Partners and with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Credit Suisse First Boston and Hambrecht & Quist.
Scott received an MBA from both London Business School and Columbia Business School and a bachelor’s degree in both economics and finance and business management from Gettysburg College. He also graduated from the INSTEP economics program at Cambridge University.
He is on the NY Board of the Association of Corporate Growth, a global organization focused on M&A deal makers (e.g., Bankers, PE professionals, Lawyers, Accountants, etc.) and business leaders with 56 chapters and over 14,000 members located around the world. He is on the Board of Unison Advisors, an independent investment manager and registered investment advisor specializing in valuation-based multi-asset strategies and the Board of BluWave, a PE focused consulting advisory firm. “I’m delighted to join Lancor’s fast-growing team and I look forward to growing both our Search and Advisory Practices, as well as expand Lancor’s presence in the New York City area,” said Scott.
“We’re excited to welcome Scott to Lancor,” said Lancor Partner, Chris Conti. “His vast experience in pre-deal advisory will be a great addition to Lancor and will provide even more value for our clients.”
