McDermott & Bull announced the addition of Brent Lamb, who joined the firm’s Aviation & Aerospace Practice as an Associate Principal Consultant. Lamb comes to McDermott & Bull from the Aerospace Systems division of Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC), where he served as the contracts lead for a billion-dollar new business portfolio with the Department of Defense (DoD) and aerospace contractors. Prior to NGC, Lamb was a critical member of the Radar & Reconnaissance Systems team at Exelis Inc. (now Harris Corporation).
“This is a huge win for our firm and our rapidly-expanding Aviation & Aerospace Practice,” said Rod McDermott, CEO of McDermott & Bull. “Brent’s industry knowledge and experience makes him an excellent addition to our impressive team of Aviation & Aerospace leaders. It is always an honor to welcome ambitious and talented young executives into our firm, and I am looking forward to partnering closely with Brent in the years to come.”
During his tenure at NGC, Lamb was routinely recognized for his exemplary work. Last year, he was a recipient of two BRAVO Awards, honors given only to NGC’s top performers. Lamb was deemed a Subject Matter Expert for Contract Closeouts in 2016; that same year, he was part of the Directed Energy team that was granted the NGC Award for Excellence.
“McDermott & Bull has an outstanding reputation and possesses the highest levels of integrity and standards of excellence. My decision to join the firm was an easy one,” said Lamb. “I am looking forward to working with a talented group of individuals and leveraging my industry expertise to help drive new opportunities for McDermott & Bull’s Aviation & Aerospace Practice.”
After receiving his BA in Political Sciences (with a focus in National Security Studies) from UCLA, Lamb went-on to earn his MA in International Relations (with a focus in Defense & Security) from the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom.
Lamb joins a well-established Aviation & Aerospace Practice at McDermott & Bull, including industry leaders and aviation enthusiasts: Rod McDermott, Craig Sabina, Jared Moriarty, and Michael Finegold.
