David Edell, Founder and President of DRG Search is pleased to announce that Dara Klarfeld has been promoted to the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), beginning January 2018. In that role, Klarfeld will be responsible for leading all aspects of DRG’s work with organizations in the nonprofit sector.
In making the announcement Mr. Edell said, “Dara has built an impressive executive search practice and has been a valuable thought partner at DRG during her years with us. He added, “During the past year as Managing Director she has led an aggressive agenda to enhance DRG’s infrastructure and resources to position us effectively for the future. She has gained the trust of our team and our clients and I am confident she will play an important leadership role in the nonprofit sector in the future.”
Klarfeld worked in the nonprofit sector for more than a decade before joining DRG Search. In her search practice she excels at working with nonprofit clients to help them identify and resolve organizational challenges by facilitating complex conversations, and building consensus with nonprofit leaders around organizational priorities. Her broad and diverse networks have helped her to identify and recruit talented professionals from many fields to meet her clients’ expectations. Her executive search practice is extensive and diverse, it includes partnerships with the Elmer A. Henderson School, The Hearing Health Foundation, The Weber School, Prizmah, JCC Association of North America, The New Teacher Center and UJA-Federation of New York.
