Lucas Group, ranked third on Forbes’ Best Professional Recruiting Firms list for 2018, has opened a military transition branch within its Denver office.

Since its founding in 1970, Lucas Group has built a rich history of successfully placing highly skilled military leaders in civilian careers. Led by Bryan Zawikowski, Vice President and General Manager of the Military Transition practice group, the division has placed over 25,000 military candidates – including more than 3,000 in the last four years – in a wide variety of positions in fields such as manufacturing, sales, engineering, maintenance, field services and distribution.

“Denver is one of the fastest-growing cities in the nation, and is attracting scores of veterans as well,” said Zawikowski. “We are excited to add this presence in the Mountain West to ensure we continue finding and placing the elite military talent that our clients expect.”

Lucas Group’s success in placing military candidates stems from a deep roster of recruiters, many of whom come from military backgrounds and have a natural understanding of the skills veterans possess and the value they provide.

“Veterans have skills you simply cannot gain outside of the military,” Zawikowski added. “By expanding our existing military recruiting division to Denver, we are well-positioned to find more candidates to fill critical positions for companies who want dynamic and skilled leaders who can adjust to any situation.”

The new branch will be led by Jeff Moyer, who joined Lucas Group as an Account Executive in 2004. Jeff was promoted three times during his career for his performance before being elevated to Managing Partner.

“Jeff has been an outstanding recruiter for us and has tremendous leadership skills gained from a 21-year career with the Marines, so we are confident our new branch will thrive under his direction,” said Zawikowski.
