Ingo Schmittmann, a Partner with the Frankfurt office of Stanton Chase, has been named Global Aviation Sector Leader for the firm’s Supply Chain, Logistics, and Transportation Practice Group.

Stanton Chase is a global retained executive search firm with more than 70 offices in 45 countries.

The announcement was made by Juan D. Morales, Managing Director of the Miami office and Global Practice Leader for the Supply Chain, Logistics, and Transportation Practice Group.

In addition to this new role, Schmittmann also serves in global leadership positions for the Stanton Chase Railways and Trucking sub-sector.

In addition to his background as an executive search consultant, Schmittmann has more than 25 years of human resource and management experience in the aviation, railway, infrastructure, communication, and engineering industries.

He began his career as a project manager, then moved on to finance and controlling. Schmittmann has held Chief Financial Officer and General Manager positions with responsibility for sales, manufacturing, purchasing, finance, IT, and HR. He joined Stanton Chase after several years with an accomplished executive search boutique firm, where he successfully supported SMEs and international groups.

Born in Frankfurt/Main, he holds an MBA degree from Strathclyde University in Glasgow and worked for nine years in Asia and North Africa.
